About Mark

I was born in Wandsworth, South London, on the 8th November 1962. They named me Mark Denton James Atkin, although my name was changed to Mark Denton Bevens on the 4th May 1970 when myself and my younger brother Philip were adopted by Raymond Brian Bevens (1943-2018 Rest in peace Pop’s)

I could dance before I could walk and sing before I could talk. I left school with zero qualifications. 

I went on to achieve my City & Guilds in hairdressing and drifted in and out of the hair and beauty industry (Including 8 years as a salon owner) for 30 years. I have been in the music industry as a singer/songwriter and worked as a Radio Creative for a large media corporation.                     

I am a Certified NLP Master Practitioner, Certified Time Line Therapy™ Master Practitioner, Certified Master Hypnotist & Certified Hypnosis Trainer, and recently (2017) Certified as a Goal Mapping Practitioner and in 2018 I was certified as a Law of Attraction Practitioner by Joe Vitale (from the movie: The Secret). Despite my lack of formal education (‘could do better’) I am an avid learner. My passions are Writing, Music, Personal Development and all forms of marketing. I am presently absorbed as a Law of Attraction Coach, Trainer and Workshop leader. www.LawOfAttraction.Blog  My boredom threshold is seriously LOW.

I presently live in Surrey with my better half and soul mate Andrea Benson and our two Cavachon’s Lady & Libby.
